Graffiti and fashion might not seem like they’d be all that similar at first, but they both have a lot of the same mentalities. While I can’t speak for fashion as well as the muse, I do know a bit about the secret world of urban typography. The first thing with graffiti is once you implement rules, it automatically limits what you’re doing. When someone tells you not to put a highlight in on the left side of a letter, your first and only response should be “why the fuck not?”. Fashion should be looked at the same way, why the fuck not? This blog is a creative outlet for the muse and I, an outlet to say “why the fuck not?”. Hop that fence, wear those boots, write on everything and keep yelling WHY THE FUCK NOT.
